Under
the direction of the Business Partner Manager, the Training Partner is
responsible for training individual with disabilities, ensuring high levels of
production, efficiency, security, and customer service. The Training Partner is
responsible for learning the strengths and weaknesses of each client served and
to further enhanced their strengths in collaboration with workplace goals and
objectives. The Training Partner is responsible for being able to translate this
knowledge into actionable data for purposes of training and meeting production
deadlines.
- Maintain

- Complete
all contract work according to customer specifications as directed by the
Business Partner Manager, and business unit of Assembling / Packaging, American
Data Guard
- Assist
in the development and implementation of task analysis for each job task and
establish competitive performance criteria
- Train
clients in work skills needed to meet the customer’s performance criteria,
through modeling or teaching
- Develop
and use systematic instructional techniques to expose individuals to new
skills
- Promote
integration and positive interactions at the work site through modeling and
education
- Develop,
implement and evaluate individual service plans in cooperation with the
individual, their support network, and case managers, and maintain systematic
data collection to record and ensure progress
- Maintain
professional, respectful, and consistent communication with parents,
caseworkers, residential providers, NWC staff and others to assure support for
the client in the community and onsite
- Maintain
accurate and timely records for individuals including daily time sheets,
communication logs, attendance records, flow sheets, behavioral data, monthly
reports, and other reports as required
- Assist
with personal care as needed
- Participate in departmental and divisional training and
meetings as required
- Prepare
reports as requested by Manager and Director
- Participate in interdivisional work groups and projects
as assigned
- Advocate
for consumers within Northwest Center and with other service agencies and
community members
- Maintain
up-to-date skills and knowledge regarding habilitation and production
issues
- Maintain
current First Aid, CPR, Positive Crisis Management and blood-borne pathogens
training status
- Experience working in teams
- At least
one (1) year experience working with people with disabilities
preferred

Frequent

also works closely with co-workers and production lead to complete work.
