We are looking for Guest Services Admissions Representatives to facilitate guest admissions and entry during the final weeks of Tutankhamun: The Golden King and The Great Pharaohs. If you are friendly, trust-worthy, and most of all, reliable, then apply today! This is a temporary position through early January.


The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented with a courteous and professional manner. Speed and accuracy while handling money, attention to detail, excellent oral communication skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and flexibility to take appropriate action when necessary are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Description

1. Purpose:

We are looking for Guest Services Admissions Representatives to facilitate guest admissions and entry during the final weeks of Tutankhamun: The Golden King and The Great Pharaohs. 2.Organizational Fit:

a.Reports to: Guest Services Admissions Supervisor

b.Positions reporting to this position: None

c.Peers: IMAX Ushers, IMAX Concessions Cashiers

d.Positions incumbent interfaces with inside and outside organization: Incoming guests

e.Budget responsibility, including revenues and expenses: None

f.Compensation: $9.70/hour + Commissions



3.Key Job Responsibilities:

a. Customer Service: Provides for a pleasurable experience for PSC Guests by processing transactions in a quick, efficient, accurate and helpful manner, proactively greeting and responding to individual needs with a positive attitude

b.Financial Integrity: Provides for the accurate tracking of PSC assets by performing accurate and efficient general cashiering, ticket and membership sales in accordance with PSC cash handling procedures.

c.Operational Support: Contribute to overall operational functions by lending support and assistance to the Supervisor and Coordinators, promptly informing them of security, first aid, lost person, and lost item situations, and promptly informing other departments, such as Facilities, Exhibits, and Custodial, of malfunctions, damage, or mess.

d.Asset Supervision: Contribute to the maintenance of valuable PSC assets by guarding against the theft or damage of PSC exhibits and property, and promptly reporting any malfunctions relating to exhibits or the facility.

e.Other duties as assigned.





4.Major Challenges and Special Conditions: This position requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and attend mandatory monthly meetings. This position assists during emergency and evacuation situations and a PSC uniform must be worn at all times.

5.Position Requirements: Knowledge, Education, Skills, Experience, Abilities

a.Required – Customer service oriented with courteous and professional manner; Speed and accuracy while handling money; Attention to detail; Excellent oral communication skills; Ability to exercise sound judgment and flexibility to take appropriate action when necessary; Smiling team player with a pleasing disposition and service orientation; High school diploma or equivalent

b.Desired – First aid & CPR certification; Previous customer service experience; Basic computer skills; Background in science, education and communications
