Required Skills: customer service, cash handling, food handling Referral Source: Other Job Description: 1.Position: We are looking for IMAX Concessions Cashiers to ensure that IMAX® concessions are a positive reflection of PSC and an appealing environment for visitors and staff during our busy holiday season. If you like working with the public and have an interest in film this is a great summer job! Concessions Cashiers must be able to serve the public in a friendly and courteous manner, highly motivated with an energetic and responsible attitude. The ideal candidate must also be able to relate well to diverse staff and clientele, be dependable and punctual and be flexible to respond to changing IMAX Concession needs both in terms of management's needs and customers' needs.

a. Reports to: Theater Operations Manager b. Positions reporting to this position: None c. Peers: Ushers, Projectionists, Guest Services Cashiers d. Positions incumbent interfaces with inside and outside organization: Guest Services & Theater staff, guests e. Status: Part Time, Temporary through January 13, 2013 f. Compensation: $9.50/hour
3.Key Job Responsibilities:
a.Customer Service: Contributes to an appealing environment for PSC visitors by providing outstanding line service and top notch customer service through professional and friendly interaction with visitors and staff.
b.Operational Support: Supports the continued operation of IMAX® Concessions by producing high quality and appealing products through basic food preparation.
c.Financial Integrity: Provides for the accurate tracking of PSC assets by properly receiving, storing, rotating and inventorying stock.
d.Regulatory compliance: Assure PSC is promoting hygiene and disease prevention by applying measures designed to protect public health while providing concessions sanitation and maintaining the cleanliness of the concessions sales area.
e.Other duties as assigned.
4.Major Challenges and Special Conditions: PSC uniform must be worn at all times while on the job. Part time; variable hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
5.Position Requirements:
a.Required - Must be able to serve the public in a friendly and courteous manner; Highly motivated, energetic and responsible attitude; Must be able to relate well to diverse staff and clientele; Must be dependable and punctual; Must be flexible to respond to changing IMAX Concession needs both in terms of management's needs and customers' needs; Smiling team player; Food handler's permit b.Desired - Previous food service and cashiering experience
