Mighty-O Donuts is looking for part time bakers for our around the clock shifts. Regular work hours are but not limited to 11:00pm-7:30am and 12:00pm-8:30pm. Flexibility is a must.
This position requires 20-30 hours a week. Benefits include accrued paid time off plus three paid holidays per year, an Orca bus pass and 80% of primary health care and participation in our employer funded HRA (Heath Reimbursement Account) after completion of required employment periods, discounts off food and merchandise; and getting to work for a unique and progressive company with a passionate group of people.
Job Requirements include, but are not limited to:
-committed to high quality, efficient, clean, organized, highly detail oriented, punctual and reliable
-positive attitude and a willingness to learn
-ability to work independently
-minimum one year of professional kitchen experience, donut baking experience is a plus
-proven ability to work at a FAST PACE
-ability to work an 8 hour shift on your feet
-able to lift 50 lbs
-current food handler’s permit
-general understanding of basic organic food principles
-experience with yeast donut production
Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-managing flow and timing of the shift
-mixing batters
-finishing all donuts in strict accordance with company standards
-packaging and boxing orders
-cleaning of bakery
-effectively communicating with other kitchen staff
-accurately following direction of lead baker and management
-observance of all policies and procedures
