Referral Job Description: Skillet Street Food is currently hiring for full time, part time, and freelance cooks. You probably have seen our airstream out and about slinging bacon jam and burgers all over Seattle. We are fully booked this summer for catering ranging from weddings, parties, and other fun events. We are looking to build a solid crew that knows how to work as a team with the goal of providing tasty food and exceptional service. We are a unique company that is not only looking for people that can cook, but that can adapt to our brand of challenging but fun work environment.
Some of the qualities we are looking for are. . .
Current food handlers card
1 year cooking experience and/or currently enrolled in culinary school Work precisely in a fast, organized, and clean manner Creativity Punctuality Ability to work long hours on your feet Flexible availability Problem Solving (all sorts of obstacles may pop up in day to day operation) Minor repairs (we are a mobile company!) Ability to work FOH, friendly, presentable, willingness to deal with high profile clients A valid driver's license (to get to and from events) Ability to lift 50lb+
Pay is DOE plus tips
Extra pay incentive for those who can drive a trailer, leads, and previous management/chef positions.
