NetMotion Wireless is seeking a temporary Desktop Publisher / Graphic Designer for a short-term project or internship that is scheduled to last approximately 2-4 weeks. This could be part-time or full time depending on your schedule. NetMotion Wireless is currently undergoing a brand refresh and we are looking for a hard-working and talented person to help update all of our marketing and sales collateral and presentations. The work is mainly production and page layout, converting Microsoft Word documents into Adobe InDesign, but can also include re-drawing product architecture diagrams, searching for and implementing stock images and creating simple info-graphics to convey technical concepts.
The Desktop Publisher / Graphic Designer will work with the marketing team and will report to the Sr. Manager of Marketing Communications.

Responsibilities:
.Collateral Conversion: Take existing Microsoft Word documents and convert them to Adobe InDesign. This conversion includes copying and placing all text, laying out the pages for readability and structure, working with internal styles, and adding graphics as necessary.
.Schematic Re-Draws: Working with Microsoft Visio or Adobe Illustrator, re-create and update visual product and technical schematics.
.Info-Graphics: Create simple info-graphics to help relay technical concepts through visual diagrams.
Qualifications:
.Adobe InDesign: Must have strong skills in Adobe InDesign, understanding how to work with templates and embedded style sheets
.Page Layout: Good understanding of page layout concepts and readability
.Graphic Illustration: Ability to work with and create simple info graphics is a plus. This includes primarily working with existing icons to re-create technical schematics, as well as creating basic shape info-graphics from sketched concepts
.Microsoft Word: Strong skills in Microsoft Word and working with templates
.1 year experience or relevant academic experience
.Ability to work with marketing and have a creative eye
.Ability to think creatively and propose new ideas
.Ability to work with page layout, stock imagery and graphic illustrations
