Position Summary:
The King County Library System serves 1.2 million people through 45 community libraries and is one of the largest circulating libraries in the United States. The Community Relations Department is located in issaquah, and includes the Public Information and Graphics Departments. The Kin County Library System's Community Relations Department offers internship opportunities to practice and learn a variety of skills appropriate for a career in jounalism or public relations. Essential Duties:
From meterial provided by the supervisor, lay out and prepare documents for the media that describe upcoming library events.
Prepare press releases for distribution to the media.
Maintain records of completed press releases.
