Summary:
This is a two-year temp. position. The incumbent in this position will be scheduled to work varied work hours, including weekends and evenings, which may change periodically.
Job Description:
The Library Page Fellowship program provides a unique opportunity for applicants to participate in an employment and development program in selected K.C. Library System libraries. The program prepares participants for basic job skills and pathways in library careers by providing real life work experience and on-the-job training.
Applicants must be able to work 15 hrs. a week and a varied work schedule, which may include weekends and evenings.
Duties:
Actively participate in identified educational competency sessions in the areas of career development, work, personal development, communication, and leadership and thinking.
